Course of 08/01/19 – Conference University of Geneva

In his first conference of 2019, Dr Garavaglia had the great honour of holding a lecture at the University of Geneva on 8 January 2019.

The course took place as part of the postgraduate training in Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine and Pathology.

The subject of the conference entitled “biological interfaces: bone level vs tissue level” referred to the choice of implant according to patients’ needs.

The subject is particularly sensitive since 1/3 of the implants can cause more or less significant complications in the first 5 years already. The right choice of implant minimises the risk of complications.

The conference was very appreciated by the audience present who stayed long after the end of the course to further explore the subject with Dr. Garavaglia.
